Hi, I’m Susie! I’ve attended over 200 births as a DONA-certified doula, and now I want to help YOU become one too. Whether you’re just curious about doula work or ready to start your own practice, I’ll walk you through it step by step, with real experience, not just a textbook.

Two Ways to Learn With Me

Option 1: The 6-Week Cohort

A small group setting where we learn together, live, over six weeks. Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Week 1: What a doula actually does, and doesn’t do

  • Week 2: Comfort techniques, labor positions, and using the rebozo

  • Week 3: Working in hospitals, birth centers, and home births

  • Week 4: Talking with clients, writing contracts, and setting your rates

  • Week 5: Postpartum support and newborn basics

  • Week 6: Finding your first clients and building your practice

    Option 2: 1:1 Mentorship

    Want more one-on-one time? This is for you. We’ll meet just the two of us, on a schedule built around your goals. Great if you:

  • Already have a busy schedule and need flexible session times

  • Want to focus on a specific area, like postpartum work or VBAC support

  • Are further along and want feedback on real clients

  • Prefer learning one-on-one over a group setting

  • DONA-Certified Labor Doula, CD (DONA)
