Chiropractors and Acupuncture
Chiropractic and Acupuncture care during pregnancy is vital to maintain optimal physiology which in turn will allow for a better pregnancy, and faster, easier birth. Gentle adjustments are safe for mom and baby and are best started early in pregnancy, if not during preconception, and continued throughout the length of pregnancy. In the 4th trimester, chiropractic care can help mom transition into the new demands of motherhood. It is important to go to a chiropractor who specializes in pregnant moms and babies. Several of my clients have received care and continue to receive care from these chiropractors and they are excellent.
Drs. Jill and Manual Diaz are wonderful, loving, kinda and competent Chiropractors. Jill specializes in prenatal, postpartum, infant and childhood chiropractic care. She is fun and sweet and gentle! My whole family enjoys getting an adjustment from her or her husband, even my 4 kids! :) They have a kid-friendly, safe office and they welcome moms to bring their children and feel free to change or feed there babies wherever you want while you wait or during your visit. I have had over 50 moms visit Momentum Chiropractic and seen both Dr. Diaz and Dr. Jill and they are still visiting them years later for routine adjustments and and other issues that may arise and need chiropractic care. Call to make an appointment and make sure you mention that I sent you!
*Note-I had never been to a chiropractor until I was pregnant and Momentum eased my doubt and anxiety about what chiropractic care really is. So, if you are nervous or wondering about taking your newborn there, don't be! The adjustments are soft and gentle for your kids and the doctors are SO loving and patient. They also take most insurances as well!
He is an acupuncturist in the Manassas area and I have sent a handful of clients to him in the past. Mostly patients that needed help with breech or transverse babies or moms that have extenuating circumstances that need acupuncture to help relive or resolve an issue. He has been practicing for years and has a very good rate for helping moms body be able to encourage baby to move from breech into a vertex (head down) position. Give him a call and let him know that I sent you and ask about insurance coverage too!
